Event: Come join a lively discussion and book signing with local author and historian John C. Schubert on May 16, 2019 starting at 5:30pm. Event held at the Forest to the Sea Nature Store located at 16215 Main Street, Guerneville, CA. Free event but sign ups apprieciated.
About the Author: A native of San Francisco, John Schubert has been a Russian River Community historian since 1960. He has compiled many short histories for the Sonoma County Historical Society, as well as a column in several local papers called "Stumptown Stories". He is the author of several books (listed below) and is a Charter member of Russian River Historical Society andSonoma County Historical Society and one of its past presidents. His books are a culmination of his life’s work, extending to over 50 years of research, collecting and compiling data and writing.
